Sante Fe Family Life Center Assist workers during COVID-19

Basketball courts turned into a factory for assembling face shields and masks.

Our nonprofit partner Sante Fe Family Life Center (SFFLC) is helping frontline workers get the personal protective equipment they need. SFFLC turned their basketball courts — space normally would reserved for sports — into a factory for assembling life-saving face shields and masks.

SFFLC’s creativity and dedication are providing an opportunity for staff to come together (following social distancing guidelines) to ensure medical professionals have the equipment they need. Already, 3,500 face shield masks have been produced to help nurses and doctors fighting on the frontlines of the coronavirus outbreak.
