Community Health Charities Welcomes Abu M. Arif to National Board of Directors

Community Health Charities (CHC) announced today that Abu M. Arif, President of Ameriprise Bank FSB and Ameriprise Certificate Company in the Advice Wealth Management segment, joined the CHC national board of directors, adding his significant expertise to an impressive roster of top executives in health and social impact.

In his current role as Ameriprise Bank President, Arif has general management responsibility of all cash, lending and personal trust products offered in the Advice Wealth Management segment. He also serves as an Internal Director on two boards for Ameriprise.

Previously, Arif worked with American Express in the international division, spending over ten years in Asia, including Pakistan, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong. During those assignments, Arif was responsible for managing a variety of operations, finance and business development functions at the regional and national levels.

Arif earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Karachi, Institute of Business Administration.

At the last board meeting, Arif was elected to the national board of directors by unanimous vote and will begin his official duties at the next board meeting hosted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in March 2020.
