Since 1952 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico (BGCCNM) has provided children’s services, between the ages of 5 and 18, with a safe place to learn and grow. Currently the Club serves roughly 1,000 children in its Albuquerque and Rio Rancho clubs,
Side by Side members and staff educate caregivers and professionals who work closely with individuals with brain injury. They conduct regular educational sessions and conferences as well as facilitate caregiver support group meetings.
Side by Side members participate in a robust day program in which they relearn many of the vocational and social skills they’ve lost as a result of their brain injury. Members also regularly give back to the community through volunteer opportunities at
