BBB Wise Giving Alliance and Community Health Charities Join Forces

BBB Wise Giving Alliance (BBB WGA) and Community Health Charities recently joined forces to promote transparency and high standards of conduct among charities, especially in workplace giving campaigns. Through a new agreement, all of Community Health Charities’ more than 2,000 member charities must submit information for BBB evaluation and are asked to work towards meeting all 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability. Southern Plains Tribal Health Board and Community Health Charities Launch New American Indian Health Fund

Last month, Cynthia Rolfe, Community Health Charities board vice chair, unveiled the new American Indian Health Fund and partnership between the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board and Community Health Charities. American Indians are disproportionately affected by long-term health challenges that in many cases can be prevented through healthy lifestyle options, disease management programs, education and prevention resources, availability to health services, and research to improve care and treatment. The Fund will support Southern Plains Tribal Health Board, American Diabetes Association, Limbs for Life, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and Camp Blue Hawk.
